Letter from Aaron McAllister
My experience of the outing:
When we started the Wednesday morning we were all so excited for the red bus tour. It was a nice
experience taking a bus tour. It was a nice experience taking a bus also altogether. Because I’m not
the one who takes bus. So then we took the bus and paid as well. So the bus dropped us in Cape
Town when we took a nice walk to Long Street. From there we waited for the red bus. There was
other people also that was on the red bus that we sat on so we had to behave ourselves. So our trip
began. And it was wonderful. We were allowed to take pics also wear our sunglasses and looking just
good. We went all around the blue route ad having fun and a good time. We got to know each other
and the teachers better also. So I know the next time I wouldn’t mind go with the same group as
well. And I think the other learners should also experience how it feels to go on this safe.

My experience of the outing:
I was so excited to go to school because today is the day that the Grade 10’s are going on the red
busses. I was so excited about the day. We went to class at 8am and then we waited for everyone to
come to school. We all received burgers and coke from Mr Solomon. We went as a class and got on a
Golden Arrow Bus to Cape Town. We walked to the place where the red buses stop. We went on.
The sky was clear and the ride was great. We got off the bus and took another bus to Constantia. We
walked there a bit and ate. We were under Mr and Mrs da Silva’s supervision. Afterwards we went
back to the bus. We went on a red bus to the circle where another bus go through Hout Bay and
Camps Bay. The bus stopped a few times but we stayed on. We went off the red bus on the blue
route. We went back to town everyone was tired and went on their own. I just want to say thank
you to Mr and Mrs da Silva and to Mr Solomon.
